Dalian International Marathon Race
Dalian International Marathon Race is one of the International-standard Marathon Race listed by International Road Running Association and Dalian has held successfully 22 end sessions of marathon races. From the first session of Dalian International Marathon Race with ten thousand person’s participation in 1987 till now, The Race is one of the most historical Marathon Race in domestics. Over the years, under the correct leadership of Dalian City Committee and Government, and with great support and participation from social all circles and general public, Dalian Marathon has got sustained and healthy development. Currently it is a large-scale sporting event with the combination of the mass and competition, and with able-bodied playing with disabled people together. The Dalian International Marathon Race’s route map for this year: Starting point: 100-meter finishing line at Dalian Stadium Infield → Minyun Street → Zhongshan Road → Renmin Road → turn around after going round the Harbor Square → Renmin Road → Zhongshan Road → Xinghai Square → Xinghe Street → Exhibition Road → Zhongshan Road (at the beginning of the second lap at Minyun Street of 20.945 KMS) → Zhongshan Road → Renmin Road → turn around after going round the Harbor Square → Renmin Road → Zhongshan Road → Xinghai Square → Xinghe Street → Exhibition Road → Zhongshan Road → Minyun Street → go round the Dalian Stadium Infield to the 100-meter finishing line, the full distance is 42.195 KMS.
